A knee ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive examination that uses high-frequency sound waves to create detailed, real-time images of the tendons, ligaments and soft tissues around the knee.
Ultrasound is particularly effective for assessing the quadriceps and patellar tendons and is commonly used to investigate knee pain or reduced movement.
